Acupuncture and Chinese herbs are a part of a major part of a complete system of medicine developed in China over the last 3,500 years. It is based on balancing the energy of the body-mind-spirit. In this form of medicine the root cause of pain and disease is seen as imbalance. Imbalances are corrected by the use of disposable, hair-like needles inseted in specific points and/or sound vibration, herbs, and diet. Diagnoses are made by the acupunturist based on the medical history and palpating the pulses and abdomen. The following partial list of conditions are often effectively treated:
Allergies Pain: back,joint, or general
Arthritis Menopause sysmptoms
Cancer Menstrual irregularities or pain
Colds and Flus Migraines
Headaches Digestive issues
Low energy Energy balancing
Depression Addictions: drugs, alcohol, smoking
Insomnia Weight loss assistance
Lori A. Wilson has a Masters degree in Acupuncture and is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the USA. She graduated in 2000 from the ‘Northwest Institue of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine’ in Seattle, WA. In addition to the three year graduate program, she has post-graduate studies in Japanese techniques and Sound Healing (or Acutonics). Restorative Yoga -Mercedes Rodriguez
Yoga means unity, it is regaining your balance and being one with all you project from your interior. The restoration of your organism is a natural process that happens thanks to the energetic intelligence that inhabits every being.
Modern urban life distances us from and retards the healing process and natural harmony by confusing us with images and forms that generate desires in our mind. These disconnect us from the truth and inner freedom, resulting in stress, anger, greed, attachments and all those little addictions that translate as the absence of love.
The process of restoring the yoga permits you to recoup awareness and lucidity about yourself, working from the inside and achieving changes projected on the outside, the basic manifestations of which are expressed in your body and mind through health and wellbeing.
Restorative yoga is movement and breathing synchronized with the present moment, postures that let you connect in silence with your own path toward freedom, where all of us are One.
Restorative yoga sessions for the public.
Ideal for initiating you in the practice and study of Astanga yoga (eight step yoga).
Individuals with injuries or recuperating from illness can help themselves with this process.
Safe for pregnant women and seniors.
Ideal for controlling emotions, stress and chronic fatigue.
The postures help to correct and strengthen your spinal column, the basis of the entire wellbeing of your organism.

Qi gong Classes
Taught by Janet Izzo
The term qi-gong (pronounced “chee kung’) is formed by two Chinese characters: “qi” (energy) plus “gong” (work or practice). Its closest translation is “energy cultivation”. An ancient Chinese practice, qi gong refers to a system of techniques used to promote wellness and prevent disease. Using exercises involving the body, the breath and the mind, qi gong attempts to promote increased overall health by balancing the energy in the body. Various studies have shown qi gong to be helpful in decreasing stress and chronic pain and improving mental outlook.

Tai Chi Chuan (or simply Tai Chi) is a Chinese art with physical, mental and emotional benefits. To the observer it looks like the movements of a martial art in slow motion. It develops balance, leg strength and flexibility. It is also a form of moving meditation and promotes emotional balance and concentration. This class teaches what is sometimes called the Original Yang style and consists of certain preliminary exercises and a form of 64 movements.
